This dramatic play tells the story of Arthur Kipps, a solicitor who is sent to a remote town to attend a funeral of client where he sees a mysterious woman dressed in black. Kipps is tasked with sorting his client’s papers, and so must visit Eel Marsh House where she used to live. He then requests the assistance of an actor to help tell the unsettling things he witnessed.
