About Les Misérables: The All-Star Staged Concert

For 16 weeks only, Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Boublil and Schönberg’s Les Misérables will boast a star-studded cast at the Gielgud Theatre for a truly unmissable show! Featuring Michael Ball (Javert), Alfie Boe (Jean Valjean), Carrie Hope Fletcher (Fantine) and Matt Lucas (Thénardier) this is a spectacular and intimate staging of the legendary concert previously seen in London at the Royal Albert Hall and The O2. Katy Secombe also joins this talented, well-known group of performers to play Madame Thénardier.

With a cast and orchestra of over 65 members, the production will run from August to November 2019 at the Gielgud Theatre next door to the current home of Les Misérables, the Queen’s Theatre. It is sure to be a special performance with Michael Ball returning to the production after he starred in the show’s London premiere at the Barbican back in 1985. Featuring the songs I Dreamed A Dream, Bring Him Home, One Day More and On My Own – this all-star staged concert is a completely unique performance not to be missed.

Les Misérables has been produced around the world in 44 countries, translated into 22 languages and been seen by over 70 million people.
