Come from Away - The Musical

Opening at London’s Phoenix Theatre in January 2019, this new musical is based on the events in the week following the 9/11 attacks in America, when 38 planes were ordered to land in the small Canadian town of Gandar.

This remarkable true story tells the tale of a town who kept 7,000 stranded air passengers from all over the world housed and fed following this horrific tragedy in the US.

Nominated for seven Tony Awards and winning one for Best Direction of a Musical along with taking home three Drama Desk Awards, this musical by Irene Sankoff and David Hein is a touching production showcasing the best of humankind.
