The island of Madeira has a beautiful mild climate with temperatures rarely exceeding the mid-20s centigrade even in the height of summer, or below the mid-teens centigrade in winter. This makes it the perfect temperature to get some comfortable summer sun or as a place to escape the colder winter of the UK.

An island of cliffs and cloud forests, there is a wild array of native blooms including hibiscus, brilliant bird of paradise, frangipani and orchids. Being at the top of a dormant chain of submarine volcanoes, Madeira has a plunging forested interior.

Also famous for its fortified wine, why not sit back and have a glass whilst taking in the spectacular coastal panoramas.
