The Man In The White Suit
The brand-new stage adaptation of the classic Ealing comedy The Man in the White Suit is directed by Sean Foley, creator of the Olivier award-winning production Jeeves and Wooster. Starring Stephen Mangan (The Birthday Party, Jeeves and Wooster and The Norman Conquests) plus Kara Tointon (Ayckbourn's Relatively Speaking and Absent Friends) hear the story of Sidney Stratton who invents a fabric that never gets dirty and never wears out. As manufacturers and trades unions become fearful of the threat it poses to their industry and jobs, only the mill owner's daughter, Daphne, shows Sidney any support. This fast-moving comedy with its dramatic twists and turns is sure to entertain!
The Woman In Black
Or perhaps you’d prefer to see The Woman in Black, described as the Most Terrifying Live Theatre Experience in The World. This acclaimed ghost story has been gripping audiences for three decades, telling the story of Arthur Kipps, a solicitor who is sent to a remote town where he sees a mysterious woman dressed in black. With reviews such as “A real treat. Entertainment at its very best” – Daily Telegraph and “A truly nerve-shredding experience” – Daily Mail, it’s sure to be a thrilling performance!
The Play That Goes Wrong
The Play That Goes Wrong is truly a play with a difference! The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society is putting on a 1920s murder mystery, but as you may guess from the title, everything that can go wrong…does! The accident-prone cast battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious results! This Olivier Award-winning play has been described by The Times as ‘A masterpiece of malfunction’ and is sure to have you aching with laughter.
The Night of The Iguana
Tennessee Williams is widely considered one of the major playwrights of the 20th century, acclaimed for plays such as A Streetcar Named Desire and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. William’s last major work was The Night of the Iguana, which received a New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award. Revived for the West End, this intriguing play is coming to the Noel Coward theatre for a strictly limited run! Directed by James Macdonald, the star-studded cast includes Clive Owens (Closer, Children of Men) alongside Lia Williams (Kiri, Mary Stuart) and Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad). Expect a captivating drama set in a neglected hotel in the West Mexican rainforest during the turbulent limbo of 1940 where a group of lost souls collide. This tropical tale promises to create a powerful performance!
The Comedy About A Bank Robbery
Described by The Telegraph as “the funniest show in the West End” and now in its third year, The Comedy about a Bank Robbery promises a hilarious night at the theatre! Set in the summer of 1958, Minneapolis City Bank has been entrusted with a priceless diamond however an escaped convict joins forces with his trickster girlfriend and the maintenance man to claim the gem for themselves. Mistaken identities, love triangles and hidden agendas make for an entertaining mix – in a town where everyone is a crook, who will come out on top? Don’t miss this unforgettable comedy!
